It started at a school fete
In 2014, our founder Belinda watched her daughter's school run its raffle the hard way — paper ticket books, shoeboxes full of stubs, and a compliance rulebook nobody could quite decipher. Raffles created so much excitement for so little cost; they deserved better tools. So she built them: a digital raffle platform with compliance at its core. Over the next decade, RaffleLink helped schools, charities and clubs across Australia raise millions.
Passing the torch
By 2024, with her kids graduated and retirement calling, Belinda went looking for the right people to carry RaffleLink forward — a team with the energy to reinvest in what she'd built. That's us. We acquired RaffleLink that year and have run it from Sydney ever since, rebuilding the platform from the ground up while keeping everything that made it work: compliance first, fair draws, and real humans who pick up the phone.
Some of that reinvestment is visible in the numbers: creating a raffle is free and we only earn when you do, which you can check line by line on our pricing page. The rest of what we've learned running raffles for a decade goes on the blog — permits, prize ideas, and what actually moves ticket sales.
