Pricing questions, answered
- Who pays the fee?
- Your organisation, by default — the 5.5% comes out of card sales. But at checkout, supporters can choose to add the fee on top of their ticket price so your organisation keeps the full amount on that sale. About 1 in 3 choose to.
- When is the fee charged?
- The 5.5% is deducted from card sales automatically as part of your payout — there's no invoice at the end of your raffle and no bill to chase.
- What about refunds or a cancelled raffle?
- Raffle ticket sales are generally final, but things happen — if a raffle is cancelled or a purchase needs to be refunded, contact us at [email protected] and we'll sort it out with you.
- Is cash really free?
- Yes. Recording cash and EFTPOS sales in RaffleLink costs nothing — the 5.5% applies only to card payments we process. Every cash ticket still goes into the same draw.
